To be more specific, I entered the text Goes On Sale in the Old column, and Price Increases in the New column, and nothing changes.
That’s fine if you don’t want to create a selection for every bit of text within this plugin – but ABSOLUTELY it should be able to be edited for this. We are increasing the price after a certain date, not discounting it. No one discounts the price as the event gets closer, this encourages people to register earlier.

Hi,
There are two entries for that messaging. They appear similar but are different since they are used in different areas:

Try using the first option for the source text and that should work.
On the earlier support post being closed, that occurs automatically after a couple weeks of no activity. If that happens in the future, then I recommend creating a new support post similar to what you did for this one.

Hi Lorenzo,
I’ve tried entering Goes On Sale as the source text, but again no luck. Any other ideas?
Also, sorry for not responding sooner to the other thread – got hit with a slough of final exams for school and wasn’t able to get a reply in on time.

Hmm, that’s strange.
All of the methods you have used should work for that location.
The PO files are the best way to do this, after that is a custom function, can you add this:

To either your child themes functions.php file or within a Site Specific Plugin to do the same job. I’ve tested this locally and it works fine for me – http://take.ms/noLyf
The PO file should also have changed this is you translated 'Goes On Sale' within that. If you’d like to send a copy of the PO file you are using to support[at]eventespresso.com I’ll take a look and see why that’s not working if you prefer.
