If I recall, this has been asked and answered a thousand times, but the last time I saw an update was quite a while ago.
Are we able to add promotions to specific Items of a Registration yet? When a user purchases a set of “tickets” on my site, some will have different promotional values (Adult tickets may be $5 off, Teen $2.50 off, and miscellaneous other things not discounted at all). Percentage promotions confuse my customers who are used to “the way things used to be,” and this would be very helpful.
Can we still not do this?

Hi,
That’s correct. The promotions add-on hasn’t changed much since it was initially released, and new features are not planned for development until after the recurring events add-on is finished. This is the feature request card they’re tracking:

Would it be possible to remove the scope option from the Promotion Configuration until it is finished? It might save questions like these, where I think maybe I just haven’t clicked it right… 😉

The option needs to remain because it does set a value to the database.
