Hi, I’ve spun up a staging server for my live site so I can work with a designer on a new theme. Everything is up and running great. I am wonder what is the best way to ensure that the designer can edit the require pages but no orders or payments will happen.
Should I, Remove the current payment method OR Go to Maintenance mode.
I just want the designer to be able to work on everything but no one to buy anything. I’ve already put in place a robots.txt but someone could still stumble by.

Hi Joseph,
If they’re working on pages that don’t have Event Espresso related content (like events) then Maintenance Mode will work just fine. Otherwise you could deactivate the payment method on that site.

Josh, I have deactivated payment but I cannot properly get updates. =( Is there any way to still get updates?
You have the correct Support License Key for Event Espresso – MER – Multi Event Registration (EE 4.7.0+) but your account only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log in to your Event Espresso account to manage your Support License Keys or purchase a support license right now.

When attempting an update I get:

As your using your license key on the live site, you can manually update on the staging site:
