We are using Square payment, and every few days it gives this error message:
“There was an error while doing the authorization health check: “One or more authentication parameters are missing”. Please re-authorize (Connect) for the Square payment method to function properly.”
When I re-connect it, it seems to be fixed but then errors again in a few days.
This is a high-priority issue, as clients are trying to pay for upcoming classes.

I’d like to take a look at the payment method logs for this and see if there is any indication in those as to why the Square payment method is disconnecting above.

We’ve been looking over this and the logs show an issue with a value which should be returned from Square being empty on the request we send to them.
In short, Square provide a ‘refresh_token’ when you connect the account but in your logs that returned empty, meaning when the Square payment method tried to refresh the connection in the background it can’t as it has no token to do so.
We are currently investigating this to try and narrow down the cause.
May I ask, the Square account you are connecting to, are you logging in as the owner of the account when connecting?
