Same with me I tried Iced mocha & backing down to ver 2.0.4 from 2.0.5 disable my custom plug for event espresso.
I lean toward wp 4.3.1
Creating account at user registration is working; not auto filling form on user registration when signed-in. Manual keying the same email associates coarse with account / my events.

The update is available for the WP Users integration add-on that fixes the issue you posted here.
