Similarly, if we purchased the personal license and a plugin (say the Authorize.net) add-on. If we decided at a later date that we wanted to upgrade to the everything license would you prorate it considering that we had already bought a license and one add on

Your are correct. We would apply the remaining support time towards your new support license. Just be sure to contact us ahead of time so we can create that credit for you.
