Hi,

I have split this topic into it’s own thread so that the two don’t get confused.

Can you please backup your site and update Event Espresso. The latest version of EE4 is 4.4.8. Updating may resolve your issue. If it does not please advise and we can examine the problem in more depth at that point.

Hi dean,

Now getting fatal errors.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class EE_Payment_Reminder_message_type in /home/www-data/acs.org.uk/docs/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core/caffeinated/core/libraries/messages/message_type/payment_reminder/EE_Payment_Reminder_message_type.class.php on line 133

… i had to overwrite the plugin files to update, it seems the auto update isnt working because of server setup (something i have no control over)

would it be safe to just delete the EE plugin and re-upload?

OK, so i’ve resolved the fatal error, EE is now up to date, still having the PDF issues though

Hi Jackie,

When updating Event Espresso (or most plugins) via FTP you need to first delete the current version (you can delete via the WP Dashboard rather the FTP as its much quicker) and then upload the latest version. Overwriting the current files causes problems such as the one you ran into.

Anyway, lets start looking into your PDF issues.

I have made a test registration onto one your events and downloaded the PDF.

It seems Event Espresso is looking within on your Dev server for your logo.

Can you go to Event Espresso -> Payment Methods. Invoice.

Look for ‘Logo Image’ and look at the URL for that image, is it the dev server?

If so click the Media icon and re-select your logo from your media library – http://take.ms/IY0oC

Then click ‘Update Invoice settings’ at the bottom and retry your Invoice.
