Original thread – https://eventespresso.com/topic/ee4-calendar-not-showing-3/

I have the same issue on my calendar, page. I don’t want to rename my page. If I change the theme, the issue still persists, below is a link to my calendar.

http://miyceramics.com/calendar/

I have another page that has the calendar short code and uses an event category ID that works just fine.

http://miyceramics.com/camp-calendar/

Please let me know what I can try.

Hi there,

If you edit the calendar page, remove the Calendar shortcode and save.

Then readd the shortcode and save, does the calendar then show?

Are you using any kind of page builder on the site?

hi Tony,

Thanks for the reply. This was all working before updating wordpress and EE4, last week. I tried removing the calendar shortcode, updating, and then adding it back in, unfortunately that did not work. Both pages are exactly the same, except in the second page I a using the [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR event_category_id=summer-camp].

I tried adding the category ID to the /calendar page but that did not help. If I rename the page it works, so there seems to be some other conflict.

Anything else you can recommend I try? I don’t want to rename the calendar page :(…
Regards
Denise

For fun I deactivate all the plugin’s except for EE4 but that didn’t make a difference.

If I rename the page it works, so there seems to be some other conflict.

If you rename the page as in the title or the slug? (I’m assuming slug)

Do you have any other ‘calendar’ plugins? Does your theme add a calendar at all?

If you temporarily switch to one of the default themes (twentyseventeen for example) does the above calendar page work correctly?

Switching themes did not work. Renaming the slug works. Renaming the page does not work.

I do not have any other calendar plugins 🙁

Hi Denise,

I can’t think of any reason why the shortcode on that page (and only on that page, with that page slug) would suddenly stop working. If you can complete the form on this secure page we can investigate further.
