Hello – I am having a similar issue with the content-espresso_events.php file. I also wish to change the order that the tickets display. I performed the edits above. I copied the content-espresso_events.php to my child’s theme folder. No change. I edited the templet file directly – under public/Espresso_Arabica_2014. – no change. Am I editing the correct file?
I have split your thread so we can work through your issues.
The other thread is different because the user is using iced-mocha theme which uses the Espresso_Arabica_2014 templates from within the theme already as it is a theme built for Event Espresso 4.
This means that individual template files can be included within a child theme and they will replace the files within iced-mocha parent theme.
A standard theme does not work in the same way, EE uses your theme files and hooks the event details into those.
Before I go into further details, may I ask exactly what it is you want to modify? There may be another way to do it without template files.
