Hi, I’m a little confused. I just purchased EE4 primarily because coupons are supported (or so it says on the site.) It appears from this thread they are not nor can I find any indication in the version I received. What the correct story?
Quite honestly, EE4, without coupons support does not meet my needs (that after 3 hours with a paid version.)

A promotions system is available for Event Espresso 3. Could you let us know where on our site you saw that there was a promotion codes system available for a different version?

The place I understood it existed is here https://eventespresso.com/features/multiple-ticket-pricing-options/ under options. After playing around with it on my installation I see it’s something entirely different than coupons. I’m not even sure of the value (at least for me) as it provides a visible across the board discount for all the tickets (unless of course it’s meant to denote a sale??
So, what are my options, should I be looking elsewhere? I like the product concept, but I hard pressed to use it without the coupon support.
Product suggestion – add support for PayPal Express.

Hi Wesley,
Regarding the discounts, those are generally going to be used for specific discounts like early bird tickets or for adding taxes or other surcharges.
The promotion and coupon system for EE4 is still being built but we will be looking to release it as soon as we can, as we know people want/need this feature.
Unfortunately I can’t give you a time scale on that currently.
If you need promotional codes urgently, then you could look at EE3, which has that functionality.
