This was available in the previous version. Why did you remove it? It was one of the reasons for my purchase.

Hi,

Automatic email reminders were not a feature of Event Espresso 3. If you are referring to the ability to notify multiple attendees/registrants at once, then this is available.

This feature is called batch emails in Event Espresso 4 and can be activated through the Registrations screen using the send batch message button.

This button is at the bottom of the page. You’ll select the registrants that you want to contact and then click the button. Then enter your message and send it.

Sorry, I have EE4 and it was available for a previous client just two months ago. You could specify the number of days prior to the event that the reminder email would be sent to the registrant.

Hi,

That isn’t available through the core plugin.

However, this could be setup by using an email marketing service like MailChimp. If you are seeing this feature in the core plugin (i.e. not using an email marketing service), then it may be from custom coding.

Event Espresso 4 also has an integration for MailChimp so that could be used.

Not custom coding. It was already one of the settings. I’m sure because I designed the site and I did not add code for this and it was not via MailChimp.

Hi Julie,

Event Espresso (both EE3 and EE4) has never included this kind of functionality.

If there was a field within Event Espresso that allowed you to set x number of days before the event to send a reminder email this must have been added through custom development (possibly directly to core, which would explain why it is not longer available after an update), another plugin or using MailChimp as it is not something we have included before.

I checked with our developers to double check it wasn’t something I had missed and unfortunately neither them or any of the support team know of this functionality.
