Josh, I had a similar issue and sent the information to WPengine support to edit the cache, but there stills seems to be an issue. Can you please let me know if there are other files or folders that need to be disabled on the cache. We tested the site on the staging server and are not having the issue that we are on the live site. Thank you.
If you see an existing support post that sounds like your issue or question, then please create your own support post and then include a link to the support post that you saw. This will help us prevent confusion when multiple members are posting.
Could you share a link to any event page on your site?
One thing to keep in mind is that our examples in our documentation are for a default install of Event Espresso. If those pages were renamed or changed, then the no-cache rules would be different.
Also, the staging area does not have caching enabled.
