Hello! I’ve just done regular maintenance on my client’s site. The calendar was working, but now it will not load events and a spinning sprocket shows on the page. Can you please help me fix this issue? I’ve looked through the support and have not found a solution that works. Thanks so much!
This is the error on the console for your site’s calendar page:
jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:4 Mixed Content: The page at 'https://www.cortlandrep.org/shows-events/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure XMLHttpRequest endpoint 'http://www.cortlandrep.org/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=get_calendar_events&noheader=true&start_date=1503806400&end_date=1507435200&show_expired=true&event_category_id=&event_venue_id='. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.
Basically what that means is you’ll need to set the WP Admin so that it also loads as https. That may have been how it was set up before the maintenance was done. One way to make sure the WP Admin is served over https is you install the Really Simple SSL plugin and activate SSL for your entire website:
My bad… I had reset the calendar settings and so images had disappeared because of that! They are back now! Thanks so much for your help!
