I am a web designer and I am trying to figure out which version and which add-ons will get me *closest* to the ideal my client is searching for. 😉 She knows I won’t get her exactly what she wants, but I want to get as close as possible.
Her dream scenario is a calendar like this:

with a map on top showing different locations, where the list can be sorted by date or by venue, and show both the date and a thumbnails, plus the title and description and a sign up button.
I can’t tell if/how/which plugins can be used to get something approaching this? I see the Events Calendar table template comes close for the layout, but is there a way to add sorting and/or a map with all locations to this?

Hi Jenny,
Currently we do not have a template that would provide the functionality requested.
Including the map and sorting features would require custom development, the address information, dates and venues can all be pulled from Event Espresso to be included within the dropdowns then likely an ajax call to swap out the content based on the selected values.
I actually really like how the event information is displayed on that page and the map feature suits really well, si I have created a feature request to look into including similar funcionality within a future version of Event Espresso (or another custom template), however I can not comment on if/when this may be included.
