Becoming completely frustrated with Event Espresso. Tried to install on a multisite – didn’t see that it was not supported, on main site – events didn’t show – so I tried a subsite, laborguild.com/lg-events – worked at first, but after a few days, no one could register, it just spins. NOW i set up a completely separate wp install (got the most recent update), only plugin is EE, set up an event and when you try to register the registration page shows just the shortcode: [ESPRESSO_CHECKOUT], so I checked the other pages – Reg cancel – same thing, thank you same, transactions – gives “This is the Event Espresso Transactions page…” my short code for the home page works: [ESPRESSO_EVENTS limit=”1″] Site is http://trb-dev.com/wp

Humm…got it working – noticed that the events page did not have the shortcode [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] – would love to get EE working on http://laborguild.com/lg-events but now after you put in your personal info on the registration-checkout page and hit proceed to payment options it says “This registration step could not be completed. Please refresh the page and try again” not understanding why it worked before and now not working.

Your events listing page should be this page:
http://laborguild.com/events/
It uses an archive.php theme template if its available. Does your theme have any display settings for archive pages?

Should have mentioned this is a multisite – and it is set up on http://laborguild.com/lg-events site. I tried activating it site-wide, just in lg-events, and having it active in the main site laborguild.com and lg-events.

Hi Reiko,
Currently you have your registration checkout page secured using TLS, but not your WP Admin.
So the registration page is making a ajax call using:
http://laborguild.com/lg-events/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
Which is being blocked as its loading insecure content within a secured page – http://take.ms/I7gKZ
Are you using WP HTTPS to secure your pages? If so make sure ‘Force SSL Administration’ is enabled within the settings – http://take.ms/cVU0p
