Hi, I would like to buy EE to sell tickets to sporting events. But before purchasing, I have some questions:

– It’s possible create a ticket whose price varies depending on the user’s choice?
For example, the customer who wants to buy a football match, must first choose in which grandstand want to see the match:
1) Grandstand Est
2) Grandstand Nordest o Sudest
3) Grandstand Nord

and the ticket prices are different for every grandstand
There is a way to accomplish this?

– It’s possible create a ticket that costs $5.00 for example but the availability of which remains the same?
For example, in the case of the football match, children aged 0 to 6 years are charged only the cost of the ticket ($5.00) but not occupying a seat in the grandstand.
It would be great if through a filter (Children from 0 to 6 years), the number of available tickets would not be subtracted

– If my two requests can’t be made with EE, can you tell me if it is possible, by paying, to have the custom plugin with features that I asked you?

Thanks in advance

Regards,
Eggeno

Hi Marco,

How are you today?

You might be interested in the Seating Chart (https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-seating/) where you can create maps and price each ticket individually.

Other than that we have a price modifier add-on that connects with the custom questions functionality to alter the total price of a registration. This add-on is not completely thorough though and generally works for very simple implementations (it’s actually is a pre-release to existing customers) https://eventespresso.com/wiki/pre-release-channel-guide/), it doesn’t list items in the checkout or shopping cart individually, it simply modifies the total price of the purchase.

Hi Garth,
thanks for the reply. So Seating Chart is the add-ons that I should buy.
But I want to be sure that it is right for me. It would be great if I could see the add ons in action. There is any demo that I can see? Seating Chart add ons costs a lot and I would not make a bad purchase.

I’m attaching some screen shots of what I want to accomplish so you can get a clearer idea and you can tell me if Seating Chart is right for me:

I await for a response
Thanks in advance

Hi Marco,

Unfortunately, I don’t think the Seating Chart would work in your case. We designed the Seating Chart add-on to be useful in a sports arena type venue where the price is the same no matter what “option” the purchaser chooses. So, adults and children pricing really doesn’t work well with the Seating Chart.

However, you could use the Multiple Event Registration add-on and create a separate event for each of the Options. Then each event could have multiple ticket types, like you have under each option. Does this make sense?

If you would like to test Multiple Event Registration, you can feel out the form here:

Hi Jonathan,
thanks for the reply.

Yes, I could solve the problem by creating an event for each option but it is not the solution for my client.

I can get a customized version of your plugin with the features I listed in previous posts, paying extra?

I await your reply

Hi Marco,

It would be best if you contacted an Event Espresso Pro: https://eventespresso.com/developers/event-espresso-pros/

We don’t have the resources right now for customizations.
