http://www.eastbridgewaterbiz.com/events/ebba-2016-expo-registration/ So we have this event and it is sold out, so I click on the register button, and all I see is this huge blue content area. Usually I see the form and then at the bottom it says “can’t register” or “closed” or whatever. Is this new? Just seems odd. |
Hi Steve, Has any code been modified within the Ticket Selector template? The reason I ask is because your web page is missing a closing |
|
|
No I have not modified anything on that template. Maybe its a bad file? I can easily shut off the link as our event is full, I just know it is not supposed to do that. |
Does it fix the page if you change the event’s “Maximum number of tickets allowed per order for this event:” field to 2? |

It was set to two, when I put on 1, it blue was still there. When I turned Show Ticket Selector to OFF the page came back on without the blue. Now we have about 50 spots, but we could fit a few extra, so I have gone in and bumped the max ticket limit, then save and go out to the front and add a person. Now it will not let me see it in the front, getting the blue screen section, which I did not get past few times I tried to add. Tried to bump up the limit from 1 ticket to 10, still gave me the blue screen. |
You can try the release candidate for EE4.9.10, there’s a fix for the ticket selector module that should help in this particular case. Here’s a link to download the release candidate: https://github.com/eventespresso/event-espresso-core/archive/master.zip |

Update: EE4.9.10 is available as an update now. |

Update installed, still see the blue screen. Also, not sure if it is your plugin, but on two sites I use this on, I’m getting a Error 502 Bad Gateway messages. One is a new site, but the other site is this one with the blue screen, and started getting that today. |
Interesting, that last update should have fixed this for you. Would it be okay if you sent temporary admin access so we can investigate further? If so, you can fill out the secure form on this page: |

Sent and thanks! |
Thanks for sending. It looks like there’s yet another bug that’s exposed when the Max and Min tickets are both set to 1 in the Advanced options part of the ticket editor. We’ll get that fixed. in the meantime, if you set up another event where you want the max tickets for that ticket to be 1, you can use the max tickets per order setting that’s located in the metabox over to the right. |
