Sold Out event status does not change

I can’t find any forum post that says this has been addressed in a new EE4 version – I apologize if this is a duplicate.

When an event is sold out and a registration is trashed, the event status has to be manually changed back to published. Is there a way to have it change automatically when seats are available?

Hi Toni,

No it turns out there isn’t a mechanism that automatically switches the event status from sold out after registrations from a sold out event are trashed.
