When social share for posts is enabled with cozmo theme it is causing errors on events post. You can check it out on my page it won’t show on that page so you have to open one of my events in order to see it at bottom of page i will leave it live for now until I receive a response. I have to shut social share for posts off on my theme so errors dont’ show on page.. But, then my followers cannot share my posts

Hi there,
It looks like the theme is using the_title() function when it should be using the_title_attribute().
The problem is that EE filters the_title() to add a ‘status bar’ which is this – http://take.ms/adA7P
Because the theme is using the_title() to build the share links that bar is added to the link (which breaks the output), the_title_attribute() should be used when generating links using the title so ts an issue with the theme.
However what you can do is disable those status bars within EE which should fix the problem.
Go to Event Espresso -> Events -> Templates (tab)
There you will find the option ‘Display Status Banner’.
Set that to No, save the settings and refresh the event page, do the share links now works as expected?
