I tried the lite version and everything was going pretty well until a week ago when I reopened registration. My clients are able to register for an event, but it redirects you back to the main registration page instead of the transactions page. They have no way to actually select an payment option for the event. Also, there are no automatic registration confirmation emails being sent. And yes, of course, I selected yes in both areas in the email settings. I have paid for the premium license and the problem is still occurring. I have also deactivated all of the other plugins to see if there was a conflict, but that still does not seem to solve the problem. I have tried deactivating, deleting and reinstalling the plugin.
There may be some code from the theme that is breaking the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode, specifically where the hidden inputs for the confirmation button on the confirmation page. Can you try wrapping the shortcode on the main registration page with the [raw] short tag?
It will look like this:
[raw][ESPRESSO_EVENTS][/raw]
If that does not help, can you try temporarily switching to the default WordPress theme to see if that makes a difference?
If the issue persists after the above two steps, it may be that the main registration page needs to be reset. You can reset it by creating a new page, placing the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode on it, and changing the main registration page setting in Event Espresso>General Settings to point to this new page.
