Hi there, my site is experiencing significant slow speed issues since implementing Event Espresso. When I disable the plugin, the site is very fast, but is extremely slow as soon as Event Espresso is activated. Can you please help as it is not going to work at the current speed and I will have to find an alternative event booking solution. I can provide access as required. Many thanks in advance.

Hi there,
No access is required. Event Espresso 4 is very fast on a reasonably performant web server. May I ask is your site hosted on a shared hosting environment? Which version of PHP is installed on the server?
Also please note you’ll gain some speed after you update to the current version of Event Espresso 4 because the later versions do not set a cookie on page loads.

Thank you for the fast response! Your suggestion of upgrading EE4 made a huge difference to site speed! It clearly processes much less data on page loading. Thanks for your help!
