I’ve got a SliderRev post-based slider running showing pending Espresso events but I can’t get it to display Espresso event dates & times.
My current theme has their own (lesser) event manager, and all that shows up in the text layer Meta Data tags (the {{tag}} type tags) look somewhat generic and get display on the slide as a tag and not actual data. I’m guessing I may have gotten lucky with the {{title}} tag being common to both event mgrs?
Is there a list of EventEspresso {{meta}} tags? I’ve tried {{event_start_date}} and several variations with no success.
(I’ve also managed to use the code linked to in other EventEspresso SliderRev forum topics to keep expired events from showing up – thank you for that info!)

If the events created by the theme are custom post types then some details will function, {{title}} is likely the post_title and would be set regardless which is likely why that works (I’m obviously just guessing here as I have no idea what you are using).
Event Espresso’s event dates are not stored in post meta, they are stored in custom tables which means without custom development there will be no shortcodes within SliderRev that can pull those details in for you as SliderRev simply won’t know about those tables by default.
When EE events are pulled from the database Event Espresso will usually inject the EE_Event object into the post details* which then allows you to pull any additional details needed, but even then you’ll still need custom code to actually display those details.
(*Note this relies on the plugin/theme/code pulling the details in isn’t doing something outside of the norm to pull in the events)
Does SliderRevolution run the posts through a filter?
Or run a filter for parsing the tags mentioned?
