Hi, I’ve been testing out this plugin but the styles are a mess. When using my current site theme, I cannot see any changes to the themeroller template no matter which one I choose, and there are some strange padding issues in the Registration and Choose Payment pages. http://vocational-rehab.com/event-registration/ I’ve switched the overall theme to 2013 and it seemed to work fine. How do I need to modify my current theme css to not override your plugin? |
Hi Craig, The site has maintenance mode enabled so I could not view it. Are you viewing the styles using a tool like Firebug or Chrome Developer Tools? Your theme may have some specific styles that do not exist in Twenty Thirteen. — |

Whoops, I apologize — maintenance mode is now off. I’m not using Firebug or Chrome dev tools. |

Hi Craig, Thanks for allowing access. I believe that the padding issues (e.g. the gap between the form and the captcha) is due to the theme filtering the content. It is adding paragraph tags to the hidden inputs. Only thing that can be done is to edit the theme to stop it doing this. Normally it’s a function in the functions.php but depending on the theme it could be elsewhere. Themeroller wise, it looks like the My Calendar Submissions plugin is also using themeroller and its style is overriding ours. |

OK, thanks — I’ll contact the theme author to see if he can help me out with this. I appreciate the note about My Calendar as well. |

No problem, let us know if you need anything else regarding this. |

Actually — I’ve tried implementing the reCaptcha a few times, and I’m not sure where the error is, because it doesn’t seem to be appearing in my browser. I set up an account a while ago, and I’m familiar with its use. What page should it be appearing within? The initial registration form? |
Hi Craig, reCaptcha won’t appear if you are currently logged into the site and viewing an event in the same web browser. Try opening a different web browser and going to an event registration page. It should appear at the bottom. — |

Oh, go figure. Thanks. I’m talking with the theme dev now, so it looks like I’m good. Thanks for your help. |

Hi Craig, I did a short screencast on how to modify css here: |
