Since upgrading to the latest version, our site (visualartists.ie) has slowed so significantly that it regularly becomes unusable. We are on Flywheel hosting which is dedicated to wordpress… they have come back and highlighted the impact that EE is having…
We don’t want to move to a new plugin as we have used EE for some time with no issues… Is there a new release coming out to rectify the performance issues that people such as ourselves are reporting… or perhaps you can explain if there is a conflict between the new and old versions…

Hi Noel,
With regards to a new release coming out to rectify the performance issues that people such as yourselves are reporting, we’d need to know exactly why your site is slowing down before we can make any adjustments to the plugin.
The first thing I’d recommend to check is to see if there are a lot of transactions being created. You can go to Event Espresso > Transactions and check for gaps in sequence of the transaction ID’s. Are there gaps between the ID’s from one transaction to another in that list?
