Hey guys … I know I just had this issue last week, but it seems to be back again. I’m getting this error “You need a valid Site License Key to enable automatic upgrades. Your current membership level does not allow automatic upgrades on more than one domain.”

I’m not sure what happened because after my key was reset last week everything was fine. I haven’t changed a thing on my site, logged back in again today and that error message is back. Is there something out there that could be removing the key after a few days, or after I log out and log back in? Any help would be appreciated. The site is on megafootballcamps.com … Version 3.1.36.2.P

Thanks and sorry for the trouble.

Jeff

No trouble at all, I have reset the licence. Please remove it from the settings, save, add it back and re-save.

If the issue comes back let me know and I will generate a new key for you.

Hi Dean … that didn’t seem to work this time when it usually does. I’m not really sure what is going on w/ it because that has always been what solves the problem.

OK, I have recreated your licence key. Please remove your existing one from General Settings and save. Obtain the new one from your account page, enter it and save. Hopefully that should resolve the issue.

Please also make sure you are up to date with the plugin, a manual install may be necessary if this issue persists.

Thank you Dean … that seemed to work and I updated to the newest version. However, when I came back in the next day to make some adjustments, the plugin had been deactivated? When I auto-updated to the newest version it said it was reactivated successfully, but I didn’t go in to check or anything. I was going to just activate it, but now I’m worried I’ve lost all of my content that I previously had in there. Is that the case? Will I have to go back and try to do a restore w/ my back-up files?

Hi Jeff,

It shouldn’t be the case because your content is stored within the database.

Ok … thank you! I activated it and it looks like everything is good to go. You can consider this issue resolved. Thanks again for all the help!
