Error log: An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 89 of the file /home1/treinfhi/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/services/notifications/PersistentAdminNoticeManager.php. Error message: Uncaught EventEspresso\core\exceptions\InvalidDataTypeException: The supplied data for "$return_url" was NULL, but a string was expected. in /home1/treinfhi/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/services/notifications/PersistentAdminNoticeManager.php:89
Do you have the full stack trace for the error above?
A null return_url isn’t expected so I need to know what is actually calling the notice manager, with the above is usually a stack trace showing how it was called.
Ok, so the issue is your server is currently using PHP8.1+
The above error happens on PHP8.1 but not on PHP8.0, however, Event Espresso is not fully compatible with PHP8 currently so I recommend switching the version down to the latest version of PHP7.
That should fix the above.
Side note – I’ve created a ticket to investigate the above error for when we make the changes for EE to be PHP8+ compatible.
