I saw another post kind of asking about this but the reply didn’t give me the info I need. Plus the post was from 2013.
Can we create a promotional code that someone can only use once? Otherwise, is there a way (perhaps deleting the promo code after a certain time) to prevent visitors from using that code?
Once a code is deleted it won’t work anymore, correct?
There isn’t a single use option for the promo codes, unless you use the social coupons add-on, which discounts the ticket price by 100%. We only have the option of adding an early registration discount, set to expire on a specific date.. However, this does not use a promo code.
The only single-use codes that are available currently are the social coupon (Groupon style) codes, but they discount 100%. If you use variable rate codes (regular promo codes), and you manually delete them, then they will not then be available for use, correct.
