I Have a site I am working on for a client and they would like to have the ability to list event details and have the form to register for that event right below the event details. I’ve done a bit of searching and some digging around in code and I’ve not been able to figure out how this might be done. Then I found this post https://eventespresso.com/topic/simplify-one-page-checkout/ which makes it sound like what I’m trying to do isn’t possible with version 4 yet. Can you confirm if this is the case and if not provide me some pointers?
The event object isn’t readily available on the page that has the registration form. Part of the reason for this is because SPCO is set up to accommodate multiple events (ie, the Multi Event Registration plugin that’s being developed). If they want the event info to change dynamically depending on which event is being registered for, on the same page that has the reg form, it’s not going to be an easy task. You’d have to add logic to determine which event’s info to display, which gets tricky. Again, because SPCO does not expose the event object.
