Hi, I can’t work out if this is an EE plugin query or a theme issue. My sidebar is not showing on my events page, nor is any other information i’ve placed on there to feature above the events listings. |

Hi, I’m assuming from your licence type that this is with EE4? EE4 uses custom post types, so the sidebar should show as normal. This could be a theme issue, if the theme doesn’t take Custom Post Types into consideration. Can you provide a link to a page/event where this issue is occurring please? |

Hi, many thanks for your response. |
Hi there, The EE /events/ page, is not actually a page, it is and archive and therefore uses your themes archive.php template to display the list of events.
How have you done this?
You have an ‘events’ page within Dashboard -> Pages and have selected to use the sidebar on that page? Is that correct?
Is this within the page I mentioned above? |

Hi, thanks for the reply. re: events’ page within Dashboard -> Pages and have selected to use the sidebar on that page |

Hi, I worked out the solution to my sidebar query within that last email, when you reminded me the events feature on an archive page, not as a page. main sidebar now featuring. thanks |

Hi, Having a Page called Events (with the slug events) will cause problems as EE uses the /events/ archive. So you may want to rename that pages slug (screenshot http://take.ms/B8AlQ ) The breadcrumb is down to the theme so you may want to speak to the theme support about that. |
