By default, ticket sale in the future only shows the date. I’d like to add the start time as well.
I was successful in getting this to happen by changing the default date format setting for WP (Settings, General, Date Format) and added the time to the end of the custom format.
While this did what I wanted it to do, it also now caused the time to display twice in other areas like the table listing for event dates, and also in messages that include the datetimes.
Any suggestion on an alternate method to have the time show in addition to the date for when a ticket goes on sale?

After ‘Registration will open on’ you will see the date and time. Prior to the change to the default system time format, I would only get the date.

You can add that to a custom functions plugin on your site, we have some documentation on creating one here:

Yeah, its not expected for the date format to also include time so you’ll get all kinds of odd outputs using that method.
