Good afternoon,
I have created few events in EE4. I can go to the default event list and can see all my events with their appropriate ticket_selections.
How can I setup a separate page or post that shows only a specific event and its ticket selections? I know that I have to use shortcodes, but none of the short codes that I have seen work so far.
I must be doing something wrong.
All I need is 2 things: the list of ticket selections for an event followed by “View event cart”.
Can you provide an example or page or video for this?

Hi Again.
I used [ESPRESSO_TICKET_SELECTOR event_id=123] and it worked. I was able to show the events, select tickets and move forward.
But, after selecting the tickets quantities, clicking on “View event cart”, if I hit “RETURN TO EVENTS LIST”, the page displays all my events (123 and 345 and 456 etc…) AND not the event that I originally intended (which is event 123 only).
Is this behavior normal?
How can I return back to the event list to show only what I started with (event 123?

Yes it’s normal behaviour. The link is taking you back to the default event list, a single event is not an event lost and it’s the only default list we can use and be sure is available for the link.
However the url is filtered so it is possible to change it via code, this snippet:

Should direct the user back to the page they added the event to the cart from.
You can add that to a custom functions plugin and we have some documentation on creating one here:
