I just noticed that, in my current EE4 setup, a person cannot see the price for a class without beginning the registration process. If it were me, I’m pretty sure I’d hesitate beginning a registration without knowing the price first. Here’s an example of what I’m talking about: http://http://www.cpr-twincities.com/upcoming/bls/ Any thoughts about why it doesn’t automatically display the price, along with the time and date? Please tell me, what can I do to remedy it? |

Let me try that link again: |
Hi, pricing is part of the ticket selector. You can enable the ticket selector through the template settings in the WP dashboard: WP-admin –> Event Espresso –> General Settings –> Template settings. Then enable the option for show ticket selector under the event listing page area. You can also do the same for other elements that are show as options there and save changes. — |

That’s excellent, Lorenzo. And so simple. Besides showing the information a page earlier than before, it also eliminates one step, shortening the registration for customers by one page. Thank you! |

Hi John, Anything else we can help with regarding this topic or may we mark it as resolved? |

Hi, Dean. Just another bump in the road between EE3 and EE4. I’d never visited that page of EE4 before. If only all of my problems were so easily resolved. I’ll close it myself. By the way, as minor as it may appear, I do think that site visitors will appreciate, though unconsciously, a smoother registration experience. So it’s really a big deal, in my opinion, that I’ve discovered it. Thanks again for being there to help! |

While this topic has already been resolved, I’m writing a follow-up to this forum. Out of all of the struggles I’ve had in making a living since upgrading from EE3 to EE4 last December, and all of the work we’ve collaborated on to bring my business, CPR-Twin Cities, back to life, adding clearly visible prices back into the first stage of the sign-up process has had — by far — the biggest positive effect. It didn’t even occur to me for a few months that site visitors couldn’t see it right upfront, as it had been in EE3. Personally, I can’t imagine clicking on “register now” for a class or “buy now” for a ticket without first seeing the price. And I must not be alone in this hesitation, since right after I began displaying it, people suddenly started to sign up for classes again. Without your help on this, I’m positive I never would have stumbled across the answer: WP-Admin –> Event Espresso –> General Settings –> Template Settings. So thank you for that. But I’d like to make a suggestion. Please have the price turned on as your default setting, rather than the other way around. This is a great learning opportunity and I hope you’ll take advantage of it. |
