How can we show a message if no classes show up on the main events page or when filtered by the tag dropdown?

Hi there,

That output is most likely controlled by your theme.

Can you link me to one of the pages in question so I can take a look?

Ah, ok. That output is not from your theme, it’s from the EE4 Table View Template Add-on.

Currently, that add-on will show a ‘no posts/events found’ message if nothing at all was found from the shortcode parameters, not from the category filter.

May I ask what string you would like to use when no events are displayed? I can put together a snippet that can add a row with some text using jQuery.

Hey Tony, sorry it took so long to respond. I’d like it to say something to the effect of, “Sorry, there are no classes scheduled with that parameter. Please contact Alice@rmf.org for more information.”

For that you can use a snippet like this:
