Hi Guys. I’m sure this is documented somewhere but I can’t find it. I need to include the price of the event on the calendar. I also need to include the price on the Event Registration page if the event is Free. The price shows up if it is paid for but I need to include the price (as $0 or as the text “Free”) if it is free. I’m not sure where to set these options.

Hi Jason,
It turns out that the calendar does not display pricing, however if you place the price at the beginning of the event’s description it will display what’s entered there in the tooltip.
The current version of Event Espresso 3 will display “Free Event” where price is normally, can you post a link to the page where you have a free event if that’s not happening? This way we can look into a solution.

Thanks a million Josh. I will drop the price into the description and you are correct about the event being posted as Free… not sure how I missed that – late night :-). I would like to make the word Free bold and possibly change its colour. Which file would I change this in?

You can use CSS, e.g.:
.free_event { font-weight:bold; color: blue; }
