Hi,
i have a standard view apart from this additional change, i added this file to ticket_selector_chart.template_show_remaining_tickets.php to my server to see the available tickets.
now I want to show also the event categories + Sale Starts & End date on the single page. i have disabled the function “show more details”, because i want to have it directly on the page, without the other tables.
what should i do?
i have searched for help and many people talking about files (don’t know where i can find them) and most of the time it’s not clear to me, what i have to do.

Hi Katharina,
The ticket_selector_chart.template_show_remaining_tickets.php example was created several months ago and may not be compatible with some of the template settings in Events –> Templates.
The customization that you asked about could be done but you would need to make some edits across a couple additional template files. Are you comfortable using an SFTP / FTP client and working with PHP?

Other than manually adding the sale dates, then next quickest option would be to use JavaScript to hold the details area open and turn off the access area:

The information that you are asking for is not easily available through template tags so if you would like to go that route then it would involve the following:
Creating a child theme
Creating a single-espresso_events.php file
Making edits to the content-espresso_events.php to include coding from the ticket selector
Which of the options above would work best for you?
