Wondering if it is possible to show the single page view of a specific event on a specific page?
I know how to show the list/archive view of 1 event but i want the full single page view of the event.
Alternatively, if that isn’t possible, is it possible to change the slug of an event so that it doesn’t include /events/ in the middle? i.e. it would just be http://www.domain.com/myevent
This would give me the same result essentially.
Currently we have the [ESPRESSO_TICKET_SELECTOR] for single pages. That displays the ticket selector for the event and then the user is directed to the registration page.
We do not have shortcodes to pull all of the content from the single post into another.

The /events/ slug tells WordPress which post type it should be looking for, you can’t remove it but you can change it to something else if you prefer?
You can do that within Event Espresso -> Events -> Templates -> Event slug.
After changing that you will need to flush your permalinks by going to Dashboard -> Settings -> Permalinks. (Make no changes and just save)
Redirecting the url to the EE event page is a nice, clean solution 🙂
