Hi there,

You would use this shortcode:

[ESPRESSO_EVENTS category_slug=efa]

Assuming your category slug is ‘efa’.

However, as explained further in your other thread, the output of those events is going to be very different from how they are output in EE3. We don’t have an output that looks the same as the EE3 events list as we move over to using outputs that are more consistent with the site’s theme.

It is possible to change the template used for the above output, copy \event-espresso-core-reg\public\Espresso_Arabica_2014\content-espresso_events-shortcode.php into your themes root directory (preferable a child theme) and modify the output to suit there.

I put this folder and file in my child theme folder as
mychildthemefolder\event-espresso-core-reg\public\Espresso_Arabica_2014\content-espresso_events-shortcode.php

But changes made by me are not appearing in the shortcode output. It still gives the same output.
Guide me if I’m doing something wrong in an order to modify the output data and style of the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode.
Thanks.

Ok, I got it. I just have to copy the file, not the whole folder hierarchy.
