I received a notification that there is a Shortcode problem on my Thank You page but I can’t figure out how to fix it. Also, for the last few days customers have been calling and telling me that they are having trouble finalizing payments with a credit card (using a credit card instead of PayPal). Could this be related?
Thanks for your help!
“A potential issue has been detected with one or more of your Event Espresso pages. Go to Event Espresso Critical Pages Settings to view your Event Espresso pages.”
Then when I go to that page, it says this about the Thank You page:
Thank You Page

Thank You
Page Status OK Shortcode Problem
This page should be hidden from your navigation, but still viewable to the public (not password protected), and should always contain the [ESPRESSO_THANK_YOU] shortcode.
Here’s a link to an event to run a trial registration:
Ok, so it looks like the [ESPRESSO_THANK_YOU] shortcode has been removed from your thank you page.
On the above section where you see the notice, click the Edit link to edit the page and add the shortcode back into the content.
The notice should no longer be displayed and yes, having that shortcode missing from that page will cause issues with pages, it is a required shortcode on a critical EE page.
