Hi I’m getting the following error when trying to import an event that I just exported (no modifications made to the event export file). [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR] shortcode has not been properly registered or the corresponding addon/module is not active for some reason. Either fix/remove the shortcode from the post, or activate the addon/module the shortcode is associated with. I’m using EE 4.6.1.p and I also have the latest Calendar, Mailchimp and social plugins installed. |
Hi John, Can you let me know which version number of the Calendar add-on you have active at the moment? |
Hi Josh Currently have version Version 3.2.1.p installed. Regards John. |
Hi John, Could you double-check that the events calendar add-on is activated? Also, what page is this appearing on? Thanks — |
Hi Lorenzo While I have the plugin installed and active, I’m not currently using it on any pages. Regards John |
Alright, do you remember the page that the message appeared on? We’re trying to duplicate the issue on our end. Thanks — |

I believe it was my http://sydney.anglo-indian-reunion.com/event-calendar page but I’ve completely removed it from this page. I didn’t use the widget version as well but removed also. Regards John |

Sorry that was meant to read I did use the widget version but I’ve removed it. |

Do you have a development copy of the site setup? Most of the time, site managers set up a mirror at dev.yoursite.com or yoursite.com/dev that is a copy of the files and database that is on the live site. That way, you could set up the page or pages where we could see the problem in action. It’s also helpful when you want to test updating, from EE 4.6.1 to 4.6.4, or any other major changes to the site. |
