Hi.
I am following the instructions shown at https://eventespresso.com/wiki/multiple-events-registration-use-add-to-cart-link-instead-of-default-registration-form/
These details on this page get you to switch off the Registration Form, and add the Short Code:
[ESPRESSO_CART_LINK anchor=”Register for this Event” direct_to_cart=1 moving_to_cart=”Redirecting to cart…”]
This is supposed to display a link that reads, “Register for this Event” instead of text that reads, “Add to Cart”.
The problem is that the page still displays “Add To Cart”.
Curiously however, if I set “Display registration form?” to “On”, it displays it correctly on the Registration Page.
Any ideas why?

OK this is weird.
Even if I change it back to Show the Registration Form, it still displays “Add to Cart”.
But all the other Events work as they should.

Hi Iain,
Are you looking at the event list or a single event? The instructions in the guide are for the single event view. In order to change the add to cart link on the Event list, you’ll need to edit the event list template.

Thanks for your response.
Well it now appears that what I was doing was correct as it now seems to be working.
I can only assume it was a Browser Cache issue.
I’ll keep this ticket open for now and do some more experimenting.
