the shortcode [ESPRESSO_EVENTS category_slug=”competition-1389669501″]
we have 10 events that don’t show up

Hi there Marco,
I’ve just tested that shortcode for several events and its working on my test site.
Could you double-check the shortcode through WP-admin –> Event Espresso –> Categories?
Does this one work:
[ESPRESSO_EVENTS category_slug=”uncategorized”]

ok this works… did not do anything different just started working?
the formatting is off… where do i address the font formatting? http://thepaa.com/company/

That page appears to be using a custom layout. What does is look like without the shortcode?
Your other pages appear to have the content centered in the middle of the page.
