Is it still the case that you cant use shared SSL with Event Espresso? If you have a symbolically linked folder for secure files why cant you just drop the required files into here and use WordPress HTTPS to point to the secure server?

Hi Paul,

I don’t think so. What happens is WP HTTPs doesn’t handle the redirect to the secured pages well since your domain isn’t the one being secured. This is assuming you’re using Pretty Permalinks.

I’ve read that you can work around this, or even go with the default permalinks instead of using the post name for the permalink. Here’s a thread over at the wp.org forums where this has been discussed:
