Settings change for 'Country' does not result in currency change?

Hi,
I’ve changed my country settings to Canada, but my tickets are still displaying USD. Is there something I might have done wrong?

Hi,

In the General Settings > Your Organization tab, is the country set to Canada? If not, change it over and the currency should correspondingly change.

Thanks Dean. I have been trying to save that setting, but there must be something I’m doing wrong, b/c everytime I try and leave that tab, then come back, it reverts to ‘United States’.

Hi, are you on the latest software?

Try deactivating United States in the dropdown list in the countries tab (if you will not be using it).

Then ensure that Canada is selected in the countries tab.

From here, go to the your organization tab and select your country. Then save changes to the page.

We are on EE version 4.4.0.

I’ve changed the country for our organization address, and saved. This solved the problem. However, I would suggest you and the EE team consider a change to the UI, and/or add instructions on the countries tab about the relationship b/t this tab and the ‘Organization’ tab. I must have tried to change the country several times without realizing that the country of our organization address actually drives the currency choice, and that the ‘Country’ tab simply allows you to create settings for any given country, but does not finalize the currency choice.
