I have searched the forum and don’t see any mention of this.

I have bought the full version of Event Espresso. I know how to use it pretty well at this point. I am determined to employ Event Espresso to the theme called Elegantthemes Divi. I have almost got it figured out. But I have a conflict, or perhaps it is a procedure that I have not learned.

I created a Page, added a Divi Section with 2 columns, and added the Event Espresso short code to the left Divi Module, and another Divi Module on the right calling on a Sidebar with the EE Shop Cart Widget. But when I call up that page, it displays the left column correctly, but displays the default Primary Sidebar on the right instead of my Module. Could anyone please tell me the best template strategy or other trick to take control of that right column throughout the Event Espresso UX in Divi.?

Here is a link to the Event Page. http://masterangels.net/events/

Thank you.

Hey there,

I have Divi enabled on my local testing website, with the Espresso Mini Cart Widget activated and it seems to be working. Have you double checked to make sure you added it to the correct widget area? Have you tried turning on WP Debug to see if any errors are printed to the screen?

Even though you have a page called ‘Events’, the default /events/ url is not using that page, its an archive of espresso_events posts, see the body class for the output – http://take.ms/SeuT4

WP ignores a page with the same slug and outputs the archive.

So the the reason you see the Primary Sidebar is because its your default sidebar correct?

Which version of Divi are you using?

Thank you so very much for this reply. I have sadly decided that my skillset and time frame make it impossible for me to meet my deadline for what is a formidable system need my client has requested pronto. So i am going to back out and go with an online, pre-built system. I won’t mention the name here. Again, thank you for your time.
