I’ve tried following the instructions outlined in this support ticket – https://eventespresso.com/topic/set-payment-method-per-event/ – but both checks and PayPal are showing up as payment options even though I’ve only added the custom field include_payment_method = PayPal Express. I’m allowing checks and PayPal for another event but only want PayPal for this one. Is there another place where I need to turn off all payment options and then use Custom Fields to add the payment methods on each event?

I figured out the issue – I’m also running Multi Event Registration, which I have to have. Is there a way for me to use code to control payment methods per event rather than using the plugin?

Hi,
There isn’t a way to control payment methods per event if Multi Event Registration is activated. The reason it’s not possible when Multi Event Registration is activated is because the cart could have tickets from two different events, where each event could have a different payment method.
