Here is an overview of the steps to get up and running:
1) Get a copy of the add-on via the download link
2) Upload and activate to your site through the WP plugins screen
3) Go to the payment methods screen and click on a payment method that you are currently using. For example, you could click on Check. Now look at the admin name for the payment method. By default it should be Check but if it is different then you want to make a note of the exact name
4) Go to an event via the event editor in Event Espresso –> Events. Then click on an event. Scroll down about half way and you’ll see the custom fields area. If you do not see it, then enable it by toggling the Screen Options tab in the top right area of the screen and then select it and save changes
5) Create an entry with a name of include_payment_method and then set the value to the exact admin name. For example, if you were going with Check, then you would enter Check unless your check payment method has a different name
6) Then save changes to the event via the event editor
Thats amazing! I got it to work with “check” but when I write “paypal” as the value for the custom field – it doesnt work. Is there a list of values I can use?
