I have set up my event and had run a few test registrations and everything was working fine in the tests run. Today I had a guest try to register and they came across and error message in processing, which I never received their registration via email. And since then my guests and I keep getting this error message after we select the ticket package we want and click register.
We’re sorry, but your ticket selections could not be processed due to a server timing error. Please hit the back button on your browser and try again.
I’ve just ran a test registration on one of your events and didn’t have any problems. Can you link me to the event you tested this on and provide details of the steps taken to reproduce please?
Hi Tony,
I had our wed developer help take a look. Unfortunately the same thing happened again though after your registration. I went to register one of our guests (as they sent it via email) and the same error message came up????
The server timing error indicates the bot trap is getting a false positive. You can disable the bot trap, or first you can try disabling the bot trap’s Encrypt Bot Trap Data feature. You go to Event Espresso > Registration Form > Reg Form Settings to change the Bot Trap settings.
