Sending emails to all attendees at registration

Hi EventEspresso Support Team,
I’m having an issue with the sending confirmation or other emails to attendees. If I purchase 3 tickets and enter 3 different email addresses (one for every attendee), the first attendee (primary) get’s a confirmation email, the second attendee also get’s one and the third on doesn’t get any email. I would like to send out the confirmation email to all attendees, so that the second and third attendee also get’s the confirmation email with their own information. The strange thing is, that always at least one attendee (never the primary, always the 2nd or 3th attendee) doesn’t get an email, but it’s never consistent, as partially, the 2nd attendee get’s the email, but the 3th attendee doesn’t get it, and then again the 2nd attendee doesn’t get the email, but the 3th attendee does. I would like to know, where to set the preferences to send out the email to all attendee, regardless of their position on the registration form, so that the 2nd and 3th attendee get the same email (the primary attendee get’s the email with all attendee’s listed, the secondary attendees get only their information listed).

Hi there,

Can you link me to an event I can run some test registrations on please?

Are your registrations being approved and this is happening with the ‘Registration Approved’ message type or ‘Registration Pending Payment’?

EE will check if you have used the same email address on multiple registration and attempt not to send multiple messages for no reason but it sounds like your using different emails so it should just work.

Thanks a lot for your reply. Can I somehow send you this information in private, as you must login to test it, as it’s a members only site. I don’t want to post that information in the support forum.

The registrations are approved automatically, as they are set automatically to the registration approved status (there are no online payment methods, only offline payment methods in use). It’s happening with the Registration Confirmation email, but also with the registration cancelled email.

I often used the same mail address, as I was running out of email addresses, but I don’t think, that this is causing the issue, as it’s reproducible every time, also when I use the same email address for all attendees (primary and others).

Hi there,

Can you provide the exact steps to reproduce this please?

I’ve just ran test registration, selected 3 tickets and include details for each registrant. I received a total of 4 emails.

1 as the Primary Registrant that lists all of the registration details.

3 as ‘Registrants’ each of those lists the details for each unique registration.
