SendGrid not sending

I can’t get Sendgrid to send through EE. I did a general Sendgrid test and it works and I use it on many sites on my server so I know it’s functioning. I tried disabling the Sendgrid plugin and EE does send emails fine then. I checked spam when SendGrid is active and emails are not going there. I read some other posts about option for sending on same request or different request and I tried both settings with no positive results.

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

Hi there,

First, go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Settings.

Set the ‘Generate and send all messages’ option to ‘On the same request’.

What that does is send the emails immediately when they are triggered rather than working through the message queue, this will help with testing/troubleshooting the above but I recommend switching back when finished.

With the Sendgrid plugin activated, trigger an email and go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Message activity.

What colour ‘status’ bar (the coloured bar to the left of each message) does that email have?

Next, log into your SendGrid account and go to Activity.

Don’t change the settings and just hist search, you should see the latest emails you just triggered, what status do they have there?
