My client would like to ask the question “email of person filling out the form” and have the primary email go there. We are running into a lot of our members having the administrative assistant registering people for classes and not having any idea if the people they registered went through or not.
Long story short it would be nice to be able to have a short code for a custom question to throw in the to field. Does this exist?

Hi Chris,
Are you using EE3 or EE4?
If EE4 then yes there are shortcodes that allow for this.
I’m assuming you’ll be asking the above question just once and so it will be assigned to the Primary Registrant question groups?
If so you can use the [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ANSWER_*] shortcode.
The format for that shortcode is [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ANSWER_*{question text}]
So if your question text is ’email of person filling out the form’ the shortcode would be:
[PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ANSWER_*email of person filling out the form]
(Note the question text must match the custom question text exactly)
